This is Nomatrail’s most intense experience — a 6-day expedition covering over 150km from the Talamanca highlands to the untouched Pacific coastline.
It’s not just a run. It’s a rite of passage.
You’ll cross cloud forests, jungles, rivers, mangroves and hidden beaches, all while pushing your limits alongside a tight-knit team of ultra trail runners.

The Journey Day by Day
Day 1
Climb into cloud forest, then descend 2200m into Providencia.
Day 2
Enter the isolated “Dantas” domain, meet remote jungle communities.
Day 3

Recovery run through mangroves, secret beaches, and coastal jungle.
Day 5
Follow Sir Francis Drake’s route to Drake Bay via dense wetlands.
Day 6
Final push into Corcovado National Park: beaches, rainforest, silence.

If you’re already comfortable with ultra-distance trails and love a challenge, this trip is for you.
No. Running is the way we move, but the experience goes beyond that. Expect local food, deep conversations, cultural ceremonies, yoga, nature, and connection.
All accommodation, guided runs, cultural activities, transfers within Costa Rica, some meals, and expert local guidance. Flights are not included.
Absolutely — most of our runners travel solo! You’ll be part of a welcoming group from day one. Expect friendships, not awkward silences.
We keep it intimate: 8 to 14 runners per group. Enough to feel the vibe, small enough to connect deeply.
