1.Contract and Acceptance of Terms

All bookings are made with Runcosbra Girona S.L. (trading as “Noma Trails”), a registered Spanish travel agency (Generalitat de Catalunya license GC-1890).

By booking a trip, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

If you book on behalf of other participants, you confirm you have the authority to accept these Terms on their behalf. Your booking is confirmed, and a binding contract exists, when we send you written confirmation of registration and payment.

2. Payment Terms

Deposit

• A deposit of 50% of the total trip price is required to confirm your booking.
• If booking within 90 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.
• The deposit is fully refundable if you cancel within 30 days of booking and more than 90 days before departure.
• After this period, the deposit becomes non-refundable.

Payment Methods

• We accept bank transfer, credit/debit card, and other methods listed on our website.
• All bank transfer fees, currency conversion costs, or payment gateway charges are the responsibility of the client.
• Prices are in euros (€) unless otherwise stated.

3. Balance Payment

• The remaining balance is due 90 days before departure.
• If the balance is not received by the due date, we may treat the booking as cancelled and apply the relevant cancellation charges.
• For bookings made within 90 days of departure, full payment is required immediately.

4. Security of Pre-payments

As a licensed Spanish travel agency, all client funds for package trips are protected under the EU Package Travel Directive (EU) 2015/2302 and Spanish tourism regulations, through the legally required financial guarantee.

This ensures reimbursement in the event of insolvency before the trip is completed.

5. Service Delivery Policy

Our services (running tours and related travel services) are delivered in person on the scheduled dates and locations stated in your booking confirmation.

You are responsible for arranging travel to the trip start location unless otherwise stated in your booking.

6. Personal Details

To confirm your booking, you must provide:

• Full name as per passport
• Date of birth
• Running history and relevant experience
• Dietary requirements
• Any pre-existing medical conditions

Failure to provide required information may result in cancellation without refund.

7. Insurance

• Mandatory for all trips.
• Minimum coverage:
  • Medical expenses, injury, illness, death
  • Emergency repatriation
  • Personal accident
  • Mountain rescue, including helicopter rescue
  • Altitude cover up to the trip’s maximum altitude (usually 3,000m)
• Recommended additional cover: trip cancellation, lost luggage, personal effects.
• Proof of insurance must be provided before trip start.
• If proof is not provided, you must sign a waiver; Noma Trails accepts no liability for uncovered incidents.
• You authorise trip leaders to initiate rescue without insurer pre-approval and agree to cover resulting costs.

8. Medical Fitness

You must be physically fit for the trip and disclose any health conditions that could affect participation.

We reserve the right to refuse or remove participants whose condition poses a risk to themselves or others.

9. Cancellation by You

If you cancel:

• Within 30 days of booking and more than 90 days before departure: Full refund.
• More than 90 days before departure (after 30-day window): Loss of deposit.
• 61–90 days before departure: 50% refund (only if balance was paid on time).
• 60 days or less before departure: No refund.

Refunds will be made to the original payment method within 14 days of approval.
We strongly recommend cancellation insurance.

10. Cancellation by Us

We may cancel a trip if:

• Minimum participant numbers are not met.
• External events (natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, etc.) make it unsafe.

If cancelled due to low numbers: full refund or transfer offered.
If cancelled due to external events: refund less unrecoverable costs.

We are not responsible for incidental expenses (e.g., flights, visas).

11. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with EU Directive 2011/83 and Spanish consumer law, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure services scheduled for specific dates.

Your booking is therefore non-refundable except as set out in Section 9.

12. Transfers

• You may transfer your booking to another trip if you notify us at least 120 days before departure.
• A €150 administration fee applies.
• Credit must be used within 12 months.
• One transfer per booking.

13. Inclusions

Trip price includes:

• Accommodation, meals, transport, runs, and activities as listed in your trip details
• Drinking water and breakfast coffee
• Pre-trip communication and guidance
• Noma Trails trip shirt
• Experienced trip leaders

14. Exclusions

Trip price does not include:

• International flights
• Alcohol and non-included beverages
• Visa and passport fees
• Travel insurance
• Optional activities
• Personal expenses

15. Group Sizes

Trips have set minimum and maximum participants. If minimum numbers are not met by 90 days before departure, we may cancel with full refund or transfer offered.

16. Passports and Visas

You are responsible for holding a valid passport and obtaining any necessary visas or travel documents.

17. Itinerary Changes

We may adjust the itinerary due to weather, safety, or other operational reasons.

Any additional costs from changes will be the responsibility of the participant.

18. Authority on Tour

Trip leaders’ decisions are final on all safety and group well-being matters.

Failure to comply may result in removal from the trip without refund.

19. Acceptance of Risk

By booking, you acknowledge that our trips involve physical activity and inherent risks.

You participate at your own risk.

20. Optional Activities

Optional activities not included in the trip price are undertaken at your own risk.

21. Photos and Marketing

You grant Noma Trails a royalty-free license to use images and videos taken during the trip for promotional purposes.

22. Privacy Policy

We process personal data in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

23. Complaints

If you have a complaint, notify your trip leader immediately.

If unresolved, send written notice to Noma Trails within 28 days of trip end.

24. Legal Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Spanish law and subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Girona, Catalunya.

Cancellation

Messages will provide instructions to unsubscribe either by texting STOP or through an included link. After you unsubscribe, we will send you a message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed and no more messages will be sent. If you would like to receive messages from Nomatrails – Pablo&Cristina again, just sign up as you did the first time and Nomatrails – Pablo&Cristina will start sending messages to you again.

Transfer of Number
