The adventure that started it all, 15 years ago. The wild Costa Brava coastline, medieval villages, hidden turquoise coves and world-class Catalan gastronomy.
This is the adventure that started it all — the very first NomaTrails route, run for over 15 years. A 7-day gourmet trail-running holiday along the wild Catalan coast, following the historic Camí de Ronda from cove to hidden cove.
You'll run medieval villages, pine-scented headlands and turquoise water, dropping down for a swim in the Mediterranean whenever the trail meets the sea. Nights are spent in characterful hotels — a converted seaside monastery, a rural farmhouse — with world-class Catalan cuisine and wine as much a part of the trip as the running.
It's our most accessible Vacation-level trip: varied but forgiving, ~100–120 km across seven running days that flex with the group. See the 2027 dates, or take on the mountains on our Pyrenees to the Med crossing.

Not at all — expect Mediterranean swims, medieval towns, Catalan history and Michelin-level dinners. The food and culture are half the trip.
Characterful local hotels — from a converted seaside monastery to a rural farmhouse — chosen for location and charm, not chains.
Absolutely — most runners travel solo and are part of a warm group from day one. Prices are based on double accommodation, so solo travellers may have a small single supplement.
