La dolce vita, on foot

Trail running meets la dolce vita. This 6-day Sicily running holiday links wild nature reserves, ancient hill-towns and sea-view hotels on an island that feels like a crossroads of Africa, Europe and the Mediterranean.

Led by Pablo with local co-guide Pasquale, you'll run the Egadi islands, the Zingaro reserve's coastal path, cobbled historic streets and mountain forests — then swim in crystal-clear water, watch the sun set, and sit down to extraordinary Sicilian food and wine each evening.

It's a Vacation-level trip (~94 km over six running days, with variants for every ability). See the 2027 dates, or for something wilder try Morocco's Atlas-to-Sahara crossing.

"Food is not a reward — it's part of the journey; meals are moments of connection, not logistics."

"A fantastic trip in Sicily! Trails over many mountains into beach towns, and the views were STUNNING. We ran at our own paces with Pablo and Pasqual the whole time — laughter, great food and very nice hotels. I absolutely recommend NOMA."

Good to know

How hard is it?

This is our Vacation level — ~94 km (6 running days; several variants) of trail running. A regular running routine is plenty — no need to be a super athlete.

What's the terrain like?

Coastal reserve paths (the Zingaro), Egadi-island trails, cobbled historic streets, ancient mountain forests and plenty of Mediterranean swims — varied and accessible, with sea-view finishes.

What's included?

All accommodation, daily meals, expert local guides and full support. Flights not included.

Who is this trip for?

Runners who want a relaxed, culture-rich week. It's Vacation-level (~94 km / 6 running days) with variants, so you don't need to be a super athlete.

Is it just running?

No — expect sea swims, aperitivo on a fishing boat, ancient towns, couscous festivals and incredible food. Sicily's culture is the point.

Who guides it?

Pablo leads it with Pasquale, a local Sicilian co-guide whose knowledge and enthusiasm runners describe as invaluable.

Where do we stay?

Comfortable, characterful hotels — several with sea views — chosen for location and atmosphere.

Can I come on my own?

Yes — most runners travel solo and become a group from day one. Prices are based on double accommodation, so a small single supplement is possible.

How do I book?

Click “Reserve your spot” or request the brochure, then we'll confirm your place on the next departure.

What happens on the 30-minute fit call?

It's a friendly conversation, not a sales call. We talk about your running, answer every question, and make sure this trip genuinely fits you — terrain, distances, group rhythm. If it's not the right trip, we'll tell you and suggest a better one. Every booking starts with this call.

Am I fit enough for this trip?

If you can comfortably run 10–12 km with plenty of stops (we adapt the pace to the group), you'll be fine. And the fit call exists exactly to answer this honestly for your case - we've guided first-time adventurers and ultrarunners on the same trips, and the support crew means nobody is ever left behind.

How far in advance do trips sell out?

Sicily runs twice in 2027, spring and autumn, each with one small group. Spring tends to fill first. Booking the fit call early reserves your conversation, not your money.
