A point-to-point crossing that ends, emotionally, in the sea. Over 7 running days you travel from the vineyards of French Catalonia, over the roof of the Pyrenees — the summit of Canigó — all the way down to the Mediterranean.
This is an Adventure-level traverse (~130 km): glacial lakes and shepherd paths, rolling ridges with huge views, historic passes and Romanesque traces, finishing with your feet in the sea on a Costa Brava beach. It follows, quite literally, the itinerary of a poem.

Book your fit call with Cristina Or WhatsApp us"A truly human adventure with some running thrown in — nothing could compare. From the Canigó to the sea, plans shifted with the weather and the group adapted collectively. The cumulative fatigue brought the best out of everyone; we became a team. Thank you to the Noma Trails team."
"A truly life-changing experience on the Pyrenees adventure. Pablo, Cristina, Andreu and Jordi are wonderful people and guides — you feel like part of a family holiday from day one. So much more than a running trip. Moltes gràcies!"
"Incredible journey running with Pablo and the tribe from the Pyrenees to the Mediterranean Sea! We had a blast and would totally recommend it for your next running adventure."
"We ran the Costa Brava and then, a year or two later, the Pyrenees with Pablo. Both trips were excellent. I could not recommend him more highly!"
For sixteen years we've shared the trails of our home with runners who leave as friends. We're a family company — we personally lead every adventure, always with local guides, in six languages between us.
If you are searching for an activity holiday in the Pyrenees that goes beyond sightseeing, this is the most immersive form it takes: a point-to-point crossing where the activity is the journey. Each day combines trail running and fast hiking over the roof of the range — summiting Canigó, threading ridgelines and forest streams — before dropping, on the final day, all the way to a swim in the Mediterranean.
It works as an active holiday precisely because everything around the running is taken care of: guesthouses and mountain refuges are booked, luggage moves ahead of you, meals are long Catalan affairs, and local guides read the group and adjust the pace. Hikers with a good engine join us regularly — several of our finest weeks have mixed runners and strong walkers on the same trail.
This is our Adventure level — ~130 km (7 running days; varies) of trail running. For experienced trail runners comfortable with long days and significant climbs.
Vineyards and shepherd paths, glacial-lake loops, rolling high ridges, the Canigó summit with historic passes and mule tracks, then a long descent to finish in the Mediterranean — demanding and spectacular.
All accommodation, daily meals, expert local guides and full support. Flights not included.

You literally run down to the Mediterranean and finish with your feet in the sea on the Costa Brava — one of the most emotional finishes we offer.
No — expect glacial-lake loops, a night in a mountain refuge, Romanesque history, Catalan food and a tight-knit group we call 'the tribe'.
'The Roof of the Pyrenees' — Canigó — is the big day: historic passes and mule tracks with a proper climb. We adapt to the group and always have alternatives.
Yes — most runners travel solo and become close friends fast on a crossing like this. Prices are based on double accommodation, so a small single supplement is possible.

It's a friendly conversation, not a sales call. We talk about your running, answer every question, and make sure this trip genuinely fits you — terrain, distances, group rhythm. If it's not the right trip, we'll tell you and suggest a better one. Every booking starts with this call.
If you can run or fast-hike 15 km with big mountain climbs on back-to-back days, you'll be fine — and the fit call exists exactly to answer this honestly for your case. We've guided first-time adventurers and ultrarunners on the same trips; the support crew means nobody is ever left behind.
The Pyrenees crossing runs once a year only — one date, one group — so it is usually the first trip to fill. Booking the fit call early reserves your conversation, not your money.
Yes — every year strong hikers join and thrive. The pace adapts to the group, the support crew carries the logistics, and fast hiking uphill is the norm for everyone. If you hike big mountain days comfortably, the fit call will confirm it.
Summit days (Canigó), village and priory visits, long Catalan table meals, a mountain-lake stop, and the closing swim in the Mediterranean. It's a full active-travel week — running is simply how we move between its moments.
